The fishing reports show that when the feed is small like on Lake Cowichan, the large trout will ignore larger spoons and only bite that small spoon.  If I had to choose only one spoon for my tackle box, this would be the one.  True Gold 2.5" trolling spoon with green "glow in the dark" stripe.  Also available in 3.6", and 3.25".  I can apply that same lure tape pattern to any other size/color of spoon.  In winter when the water is cold and the trout are less active, "glow in the dark" dots are more subtle and might catch more fish.  So I offer the green "glow in the dark" lure tape either in stripe pattern or dots pattern, for the same price.  $8.00 to $12.00
